| An alternative to a mountain walk, ridge walking offers the opportunity to try out some easy scrambling on spectacular mountain ridges under the watchful eye of our experienced mountain guides. | | | No special skills are required though a head for heights is useful! Our guides always take a safety rope, and can use it if required to make sure everyone remains safe. | | There are several classic ridge scrambles in the Lake District, such as Striding and Swirral Edge on Helvellyn and Sharp Edge on Blencathra. | | | The guides operate with a maximum group size of 6, and you can be assured of a memorable day in the mountains.
